United States: Bid Deposit and Payment Information

Registration

Registration to bid is free of charge, whether you are bidding in person, online or by proxy. You may be required to pay a refundable bid deposit.

Bid Deposits

• Domestic bidders: In most cases, you don't have to place a deposit if you are bidding in person.

• Foreign bidders: Unless you have made prior arrangements with Ritchie Bros., you must place a refundable deposit equaling 25% of the total expected purchases or US$25,000, whichever is higher.

• Online bidders: Depending on your bidding history, you may be required to place a refundable 25% bid deposit when you register to bid.

* Make a payment by credit card or view wire transfer payment information.

** Checks must be drawn on a U.S. bank. Canadians with U.S. dollar accounts may pay with U.S. dollar checks (currency must be printed by bank on check, not handwritten).
